A bit of Magic
...lets not ever forget the magical side of tattooing and indeed the magic in the symbols!
Tattooing History
Tattooing has a long and noble history, spreading over many centuries and touching all corners of the earth from ancient Egypt to New Zealand, from North Africa to Siberia, from Greenland to the pacific islands, from Alaska to Japan and many points in between.
For hundreds of years, since before what we call "civilisation" began, humans have felt the need to adorn themselves permanently. Tribal people have used tattoo to signify milestones in a person's life, a boy's ascent into manhood or a girl bearing her first child. Family and relationship have also been represented by tattoos.
Traditional Maori Tattoos ensure that blood ties and tribal heritage transcends the generations and are never forgotten.
Tattoos have also supposedly been used to aid appearance to intimidate the enemy.
Sometimes simply to enhance and beautify the wearer and lets not ever forget the magical side of tattooing and indeed the magic in the symbols.
